Caroline “Carrie” Wu is the content creator for “Words of Wu” a lifestyle blog featuring fashion, fitness, food and fun. Wu has always been a fan of social media and was an early adopter when it was first introduced. However, she realized connecting with people through pictures and words on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter only went so far. A blog would allow her to express her ideas in more depth, write about her passions and share stories with the world.

Wu is a graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School at Syracuse University where she earned her B.S. in public relations. She is a classically trained ballerina, having danced with Boston Ballet School from childhood through her adolescent years in high school. She credits ballet to having influenced her creative side and love for storytelling through movement and expression. Ballet also taught her excellent time management, discipline and dedication.

Having decided to forgo a professional career as a ballerina, Wu longed to continue performing on the stage. She was introduced to the wonderful world of pageantry and started competing in pageants during college. Her favorite parts of competition are interview and talent, where she can tell her stories through words, movement and artistry. Wu has held local, state, national and international pageant titles.

In her spare time, Wu enjoy taking barre classes at her local Pure Barre studio and working as a signed model and actress with Boston based talent agency Dynasty Models Inc. She is also learning how to cook and working to perfect her makeup skills, so she feels like she’s constantly doing science experiments. Wu is one busy lady, but always makes time to provide “Words of Wu.”
